Recommendations for the use of rechargeable batteries:
■ Replace the batteries at the latest when the light of the luminaire
starts to flicker.
■ Before removing the batteries, switch off the light using the
corresponding on/off switch.
■ Avoid deep discharge of your batteries and recharge them as
soon as possible. This will ensure the long-lasting functionality and
performance of your batteries.
■ Always operate the luminaire with two batteries of the same capacity
and similar state of charge.
■ Always change both batteries at the same time.
■ If you operate the luminaire with mains power, remove the batteries to
be on the safe side. The batteries are not charged in the luminaire and
could become very hot or damaged.
6.5 Disconnecting the power supply
NOTE - Switch off the luminaire after use and disconnect the luminaire from
the mains if you are not going to use it for a long time.
Operation via mains adapter
1.
Switch off the luminaire. To do this, move the on/off switch (20) to the
position [0].
2.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
3.
Pull the plug of the power supply unit (12) out of the socket (18) on the
back of the luminaire.
Battery operation
1.
Switch off the luminaire. To do this, move the on/off switch (20) to the
position [0].
2.
Press the release (19a) of each battery and pull it straight away from the
lamp, backwards out of the battery dock (19).
