■ Keep children and pets away from the luminaire / stand and the
packaging material.
■ Be sure to keep the luminaire out of the reach of children or persons
with medical conditions, drugs, physical/mental disabilities or
illnesses.

Electric shock hazard and fire hazard, caused by a short circuit
Among other things, a short circuit can be caused by defective cables,
moisture or wetness. In the event of a short circuit, the insulation or the
cable wire may melt. This can cause a fire or electric shock.
■ Only use the original cables supplied with the luminaire.
■ Only operate the luminaire in dry rooms and when outdoors,
only operate it in dry weather conditions.
■ Never allow the luminaire or the power supply unit to come into
contact with moisture or water. Do not touch it with wet hands or
feet.
■ Do not drop the luminaire or throw it around.
■ If the luminaire falls, have it checked by a qualified electrician
before switching it on again.
■ If the luminaire has been damaged or is defective, or if you notice
a burning smell, do the following:
→ Immediately disconnect the power supply by pulling the mains
plug or removing the battery and do not use the luminaire again.
→ Do not open the luminaire.
→ Never repair the luminaire yourself. Only have the luminaire
repaired by a qualified electrician.
