Machine-speci昀椀c safety instruc琀椀ons

WARNING : Read all safety warnings, instruc-
琀椀ons, illustra琀椀ons and speci昀椀ca琀椀ons provided with this
power tool. Failure to follow all instruc琀椀ons listed below
may result in electric shock, 昀椀re and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instruc琀椀ons for future reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or ba琀琀ery-operated
(cordless) power tool.
To be able to use the machine safely it is essen琀椀al that
you read the opera琀椀ng instruc琀椀ons and the safety
instruc琀椀ons thoroughly and comply with all of them.
The machine is to be used only by persons who have
read the opera琀椀ng instruc琀椀ons and who are acquainted
with the occupa琀椀onal safety and accident preven琀椀on
regula琀椀ons in force in your country.

In addition, you must also comply with the general
safety instructions also included with the machine.
► Take care to ensure that the mains power supply
corresponds to the specifications on the rating plate.
► Hold the power tool with both hands by the handles
provided. Loss of control may result in injury.
► To avoid a dangerous atmosphere, ensure adequate
ventilation when mixing flammable substances.
Vapours formed may be inhaled or ignited by sparks
generated by the power tool.
► Do not stir any food. Power tools and their insert
tools are not designed for processing food.
► Keep the power cord away from the working area.
The mains cable may get caught in the stirring basket.
► Ensure that the mixing bucket is firmly and safely
positioned. An improperly secured bucket may move
unexpectedly.
► Make sure that no liquid splashes against the hous-
ing of the power tool. Liquid entering the power tool
can cause damage and electric shock.
► Follow the instructions and safety instructions for
the material to be mixed. The material to be mixed
may be harmful to health.
► If the power tool falls into the material to be mixed,
immediately unplug the power plug and have the
power tool checked by qualified personnel. Reach-
ing into the bucket with the power tool still hanging
from the socket inside it can lead to an electric shock.
► Do not reach into the stirring container with your
hands or insert any other objects while stirring. Con-
tact with the paddle can cause serious injury.
► Only let the power tool run on and off in the stirring
bucket. The paddle can spin around or bend in an
uncontrolled manner.
Further safety instructions:
► Do not wind cables or leads around any parts of
your body.
► Do not use the machine with a damaged cable. Do
not touch the cable and pull out the power plug im-
mediately. There is an increased risk of electric shock
from damaged cables. If the mains power cable has to
be replaced (because of damage or similar), ensure
that it is replaced by the manufacturer or an autho-
rized representative of the manufacturer (electrician)
in order to avoid any risk to safety.
► Hold the machine by the insulated grip surfaces
when carrying out work where it may be possible for
the plug-in tool to come into contact with concealed
power cables or the machine's own mains power
cable. Contact with a live cable may make metal com-
ponents of the machine live as well and could cause
an electric shock.
► Before starting up, check that the mixing rod is se-
curely attached and rotates without a hitch.
► Only operate the machine and the mixing tool in
perfect condition. Do not use damaged, bent or worn
paddles.
► If the sound pressure level should exceed 85 dB (A)
where you are working, use ear protection!
► We recommend that you wear work gloves and pro-
tective goggles when using the mixer. Regulations
require that you wear close-fitting clothing.
► Always connect machines via a residual current de-
vice (RCD) with a rated residual current of 30 mA or
less.

start it up!
Always wear protec琀椀ve goggles and ear
protec琀椀on while working.
It is advisable to wear a dust mask
whenever working with materials which
generate large amounts of dust.
