Replacing the diamond blade:

Remove the 3
securing screws (Fig.
17) and take off the
side cover (Fig. 17).
Use the hexagonal
wrench provided to
hold the blade-
securing nut, then use
the other spanner
provided to secure
the flat part of the
shaft. Loosen the nut
by turning clockwise
Ensure that the shaft and flanges are clean and re-fit the blade (Fig. 18) in reverse steps. Insert the flange and pay
attention to the rotating direction of the blade. Tighten the lock nut (Fig. 18).

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any kind of maintenance and cleaning work,
disconnect the tool from the power supply!
•
Regular maintenance of the cutter will prevent unnecessary problems. Use a damp cloth and some soft soap to
clean the tool. Do not use other detergents or solvents; these might damage the tool's components.
•
Keep the ventilation slots of the cutter clean to prevent overheating of the motor.
•
After use dry the cutter as best as possible.
After every use of the tool, the pump of Crosstools CSC must be cleaned!
Pump maintenance
1. Cleaning the pump
For cleaning the pump, remove the intake cover (1) and take out
rotor cover (2). Use a small brush or a water jet to remove any
dirt from the rotor (Fig. 19).
Note: The pump must be cleaned immediately after finishing
the work. Otherwise, rotor will be clogged by dried remains.
Note: Any other kind of repairs must only be done by
authorized personnel.

8. Trouble Shooting

Below we have listed a number of possible causes and corresponding solutions in case the machine does not function as
it should:
•
The motor gets hot.
1.
The ventilation slots in the motor are blocked with dirt:
Clean the ventilation slots;

2.
The motor is defective:
Have your stone cutter repaired by your supplier.

The connected machine does not work.
1.
Interruption in the mains connection;
Check mains connection for fracture.

2.
The switch is broken.
Have your stone cutter repaired by your supplier.

Note: Any other kind of repairs must only be done by authorized personnel.
