Tractel considers this equipment or systems as
mechanical height safety equipment or systems.
These have an unlimited lifespan. If they include
textile components, these must be replaced after
a maximum of 20 years from the date of manu-
facture of the textile component.

13. Withdrawal from service

When disposing of the product, all components
must be recycled by firstly sorting them into me-
tallic and synthetic materials. These materials
must be recycled by specialist bodies. During
disposal, dismantling and separating the com-
ponents should be undertaken by a duly trained
person.
