Manual activation of the defrost cycle can be started by holding the
If there are no conditions for defrosting:
- the parameter OdO ≠ 0 (EW961, EW971 and EW974)
- the temperature of the evaporator probe Pb2 is higher than the end defrost temperature (EW971 and EW974)
the display will flash 3 times to indicate that the operation will not be carried out.
The alarm condition is always signalled by a buzzer (if present) and the alarm icon
To turn off the buzzer, press and release any key. The relevant icon will continue to flash.
NOTES: If alarm exclusion times are in progress (folder "AL" of the Parameters Table), the alarm is not signalled.
The alarm indicator for probe 1 fault (Pb1) appears
directly on the device display with indication E1.
Models EW971 and EW974: The alarm indicator for probe 2 fault
(Pb2) appears directly on the device display with indication E2.
The instrument is designed for installation on the control panel. Drill a 29x71 mm hole and insert the instrument, fixing it with the special brackets
provided. Avoid installing the instrument in places subject to high humidity and/or dirt; it is suitable for use in environments with ordinary or normal
environmental pollution.
Make sure to ventilate the area near the cooling vents of the instrument.
