5 Intended use

The 12 DC link manager provides optimal management of heavy duty loads. The device provides risk-free opera-
tion of such appliances as an air conditioner, hair dryer and coffee machine, on or off grid. The device is intended to
be used with 12 V charging systems and appliances. The device protects the batteries and the electrical system by
selecting the safest power source. The device always keeps the starting and the house battery voltage under con-
trol, avoiding any overload to the alternator or the electrical system. The maximum constant power consumption of
a connected appliance must be below 1500 W. The device is intended to be used in motorhomes, campervans and
coaches.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor in-
stallation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

6 Target group

The electrical power supply must be connected by a qualified electrician who has demonstrated skill and
knowledge related to the construction and operation of electrical equipment and installations, and who
is familiar with the applicable regulations of the country in which the equipment is to be installed and/or
used, and has received safety training to identify and avoid the hazards involved.

7 Technical description

The device employs a heavy duty automatic 12 V power supply management. The device is equipped with a dedicat-
ed switch for compressor on-off management, used on air conditioners with economy function. The device features
an automatic battery disconnection function.

8 Installation

1. Remove the two screws.
2. Remove the lid.

3. Secure the device on the mounting surface using the included screws.

4. Remove the three M6 nuts.
