3.4.2. Resetting the AIR position
If the AIR position has been deleted or incorrectly set, the AIR
position must be programmed again.
1) Position the roller shutter at mid-height then lower
it to a position 37 mm (+/- 15 mm) above its lower
end limit.
2) Press Up: the roller shutter moves upwards until it
reaches the end stop, in locked position with slats open,
then moves briefly.

- The roller shutter moves briefly.
- The AIR position has been programmed.

Observations
The roller shutter is

3.5.2. Detecting obstacles when lowering and Smart Protect
The automatic obstacle detection function protects the roller shutter and enables obstacles to be
cleared.
Thanks to the self-adapting Smart Protect function, S&SO-RS100 AIR io automatically selects the
obstacle detection sensitivity best suited to the roller shutter. This function enables the motorised roller
shutter to adapt its behaviour throughout its service life, taking its installation, environment and ageing
into account.

mode. The thermal protection
of the S&SO-RS100 AIR io takes
account of several parameters and
can thus be triggered to protect
it without the temperature of the
tube being high.
The Smart Protect function
automatically adjusts the obstacle
detection sensitivity to avoid
causing the shutter to stop for no
reason (e.g.: slight rubbing in the
runners).
The roller shutter is equipped with
an S&SO-RS100 AIR io drive.

Solutions
Check whether the battery is low and replace
it if necessary. Refer to the control point
instructions
Wait until the temperature reaches a point
where the roller shutter can move again.
Wait several minutes.
Normal behaviour. The Smart Protect function
is activated.
The only favourite position (my) possible with
the S&SO-RS100 AIR io is the AIR position.
