During the first 9 cycles, the Smart Protect functions learns its environment: the roller shutter is
protected by means of standard detection sensitivity. The most appropriate sensitivity is then defined
and constantly re-assessed.
If the roller shutter apron comes up against an obstacle when moving down then, depending on the
position of the obstacle:
• Either the roller shutter stops automatically.
• Or it stops and is automatically raised.

If an obstacle is detected following an automatic order
(sent by a timer, a sensor or TaHoma), the "lower" order is
automatically renewed. If the obstacle is detected again, the
roller automatically stops and is raised.
3.5.3 Frost protection when raising
If the S&SO-RS100 AIR io detects resistance, it stops automatically to protect the roller apron: the
roller remains in the initial position.
3.5.4. Replacing a lost or broken Somfy io-homecontrol
To replace a lost or broken io-homecontrol® control point, consult a drive and home automation
professional.
