8 Troubleshooting

Before performing a new installation of the gateway, please check the
possible errors and solutions below!
System seems not to reboot:
The reboot after initial setup can take approx. 2 to 4 minutes because an
initialization is performed and keys are generated. These processes are very
computer intensive! If after 4 minutes the browser does not show any visible
reboot, it is to be assumed that you have changed the IP address of the
internal interface (LAN 2)! In this case, you must enter the IP address you
entered for the internal interface in your browser, otherwise you will not be
able to access the web interface of the gateway. Please enter:
https://"Your new IP address of LAN 2":11115
Check the network area of your administration computer:
If you have changed the IP address of LAN 2 (internal network: default
192.168.175.1, port 11115) on the appliance, you must set the IP address of
your computer to the new network area, otherwise you will not get to the web
interface of the gateway!
Check the Securepoint Appliance IP address / -es:
To verify that the correct IP address is on the corresponding interface on the
Securepoint appliance, you can use the CLI

. To do this, connect a monitor
and keyboard to the appliance. On the login screen, log in with admin and
your password. You can check the interface assignment on the CLI by:
interface address get
No more administrative access:
The Securepoint appliance can only be accessed administratively if the IP
address or the network is enabled for administration. An exception is the
network with the internal zone. This zone implies free access to the
administration interface. To check who has administrative access, the zones
can be queried via the CLI.
