4 Connect and Log In

Start the Securepoint appliance and connect your computer to the LAN 2
interface. Please refer chapter 1.
On your computer, configure an IP address from the range: 192.168.175.2 to
192.168.175.254 (network mask: 255.255.255.0). In the factory settings, the
Securepoint appliance does not distribute IP addresses via DHCP.
Call the Securepoint Appliance web GUI
https://192.168.175.1:11115
You will now receive a security message from your browser as the
Securepoint appliance operates with a self-signed certificate. Depending on
the browser, this warning may look different. Please confirm that you still want
to access the page, so that you can login.
Login with factory setting:
Username: admin
Password: insecure
