6 Basic configuration

After the first login some basic settings have to be made:
License conditions:
Before the installation wizard can be started, the license conditions are
displayed and must be accepted. These can also be viewed on our website at
any time.

Also, the privacy policy is displayed and must be accepted. These can also be
viewed on our website at any time.

Basic settings:
Specify the name for the Securepoint Appliance. It is recommended to assign
a FQDN-compliant name, which may be required in further configuration
settings.
Please check the system time. If the time deviates too much from the actual
time, this can lead to malfunction.
Enter a license key.
