Changing the batteries
WARNING!
Risk of explosion or fire!
Incorrect installation of batteries can lead to a short circuit or over-
load, causing a rapid battery temperature rise. Battery overheating
may lead to gas or battery fluid leakage or explosion, which, in turn,
may result in injury.
– Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the
batteries.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
The scale can get damaged due to overload.
– Do not place excessive pressure on the scale.
To change the batteries, refer to the illustrations in the chapter "Inserting the batteries".
1. Open the battery compartment. Press the lock of the battery compartment cover
slightly to the side.
2. Remove the depleted batteries
3. Insert new batteries in the battery compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment. Place the battery compartment cover on the battery
compartment and press the battery compartment cover lock in slightly until it clicks
into place.

Transport

– Use the original packaging for the scale
scale is protected and secured in the packaging during transport.
