Weighing an animal

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the scale may result in damage to the scale.
– Do not overload the scale. Do not exceed the maximum weigh-
ing capacity.
– When the scale is overloaded, the error message "Err" is dis-
played. In this case, remove the load from the weighing plat-
form.

Carefully put the animal in the centre of the weighing platform.
Never exceed the maximum weighing capacity of the scale (see chapter
„Technical data" on page 42).
1. To switch on the scale
2. Wait a few seconds for the scale to return to zero.
"8888" will appear on the display
The scale is ready for use.
3. Put the animal on the weighing platform and make sure that it stays as still as possi-
ble.
The result first flashes twice on the display and is then displayed for 10 seconds.
The weight of the animal can now be read off the display.
