9.1.4 Removing the saw blade with pins
1. To remove the saw blade (22), remove the table inlay (26)
upwards. (see 9.1.1)
2. First, release the tension by flipping the tightening lever
(11) upwards. Continue reducing the tension by turning
counterclockwise as required.
3. Hold the sawblade firmly and press the arm (12) down
slightly (see Fig. 9).
4. Remove the saw blade from the top and bottom saw blade
holder (27/30).
9.1.5 Inserting the saw blade with pins
The teeth of the saw blade must always point downwards.
1. Insert one end of the saw blade (22) through the drilled
hole in the table. Insert the pins of the saw blade (22) into
the corresponding recesses of the top and bottom saw
blade holder (27/30).
2. First, insert the saw blade (22) into the bottom saw blade
holder (30).
3. Press the arm (12) down lightly (see fig. 9). Insert the saw
blade (22) into the upper saw blade holder (27).
4. Check the position of the saw blade pins in the saw blade
holders (27/30).
5. Tension the saw blade (22) with the tightening lever (11)
by pressing down on it again. Check the tensioning of the
saw blade (22). If the tension is too low, you can increase
it by turning it clockwise. Before doing this, release the
tightening lever (11) again.
6. Insert the table inlay (26) again. (see 9.1.1)
NOTE
The left side features a storage box (9), which enables you to
stow replacement saw blades and the Allen key.
9.2 Checking the saw blade tension
WARNING
Check the blade tension regularly and after
inserting a saw blade.
Tension the saw blade after assembly by pressing down the
tightening lever (11).
If the blade tension is too low or too high, proceed as follows:
• Fold the tightening lever (11) upwards.
• Turn the tightening lever (11) clockwise to increase the
tension and counterclockwise to reduce it.
• Press the tightening lever down again to engage the setting.
If the tension is correct, the saw blade should produce a light
tone when it is "plucked", like a guitar string.
9.3 Calibrating the angle scale (fig. 12, 12.1)
ATTENTION
Check the setting of the angle scale before working with the
device.
1. Loosen the adjustment screw locknut (37) using a spanner,
size 8 (not included in the scope of delivery).
2. To set the saw table, use a 90° bracket (31). Place this
against the saw table and the saw blade (fig. 12).

GB/MT
3. Loosen the knurled nut (14). Adjust the adjustment screw
(37) until the angle between the saw blade (22) and the
saw table (6) is 90°.
4. Tighten the knurled nut (14) and the locking nut of the
adjusting screw (37) again.
5. Loosen the screw (32) and turn the pointer (33) to the 0°
marking.
6. Make a test cut. Check the angle on the workpiece with a
protractor. If necessary, readjust the pointer (33).
9.4 Installing the depressor (fig. 6, 7)
NOTE:
Before assembling the depressor (24), the saw blade pre-
installed at the factory (22) must be removed (see 9.1).
1. Remove the saw blade (22) as described in 9.1.
2. Remove the depressor (24) from the saw blade guard
(5):Completely loosen the screw (25) using a Phillips
screwdriver (not included in the scope of delivery) (see fig.
6).
3. Insert the holder (4) into the opening (see fig. 7).
4. Fasten the holder (4) with the knurled screw (3).
5. Install the depressor (24) on the saw blade guard (5). Fit the
screw (25) on the holder (4). Tighten the screw (25) with a
Phillips screwdriver (not included in the scope of delivery).
6. Insert the saw blade (22) again as described in 9.1.
7. Ensure that the depressor (24) does not touch the saw
blade (22).
9.4.1 Setting the depressor
NOTE: The depressor (24) must always be adjusted according
to the workpiece height. However, the workpiece should not
be clamped, but should rather be able to move freely. The
depressor (24) is used to lock the workpiece so that it cannot
swing upwards, which would destroy the saw blade (22).
1. Loosen the knurled screw (3) to set the depressor (24).
2. Adjust the depressor (24) according to the workpiece
height.
3. Tighten the knurled screw (3) again.
9.5 Installing the blow-off device (fig. 8)
1. Ensure that the saw blade guard (5) is folded down.
2. Screw the blow-off device (1) clockwise onto the holder (2)
as described in fig. 8.
9.6 Chip extraction (fig. 13)
ATTENTION: Only operate the product with a suitable chip
extraction system. Do not use household vacuum cleaners.
Connect a suitable chip extraction system (not included in the
scope of delivery) to the extraction connection (15) (see fig.
13, sample figure).
ATTENTION: Check and clean the extraction channels at
regular intervals.
