During use the pilot light automatically switches
on and off, indicating that the heating elements
are operating in order to maintain the desired
temperature.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
Turn off the appliance by selecting '0' on the
power selector.
Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Put the cable back in the cable compartment.

Allow the appliance to cool down.
Clean the appliance.
CABLE COMPARTMENT
This appliance has a mains cable compartment
located at the bottom. (4)
ANTI-CAPSIZE SAFETY DEVICE
The appliance has an anti-capsize safety
device which disconnects the appliance if the
working position is incorrect.
SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR
The appliance has a safety device, which
protects the appliance from overheating.
When the appliance switches itself on and
off repeatedly, for reasons other than the
thermostat control, check to ensure that there
are no obstacles that impede correct air entry
or expulsion.
If the appliance turns itself off and does not
switch itself on again, unplug it from the mains
supply and wait approximately 15 minutes
before reconnecting it. If it fails to switch on
again, take it to one of the authorised technical
assistance services.
CLEANING
Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it
cool before performing any cleaning task.
Clean the equipment using a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
Do not use solvents or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
to clean the appliance.
To avoid damaging the appliance's internal
components, do not let water or any other
liquid get inside the air vents.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid or place it under a running tap.
If the appliance is not kept clean, its surface
may deteriorate, which will inevitably shorten
the appliance's useful life, as well as making it
unsafe to use.
