4.3.10 Bridge function

This function allows you to join the 2 left and 2 right zones
so they operate as 2 large flex zones. This function can be
activated manually, or automatically when a large pot/pan be
placed on the cooking surface.
Bridge function:
Manual activation
Simultaneously press the 2 zone selection
keys of the 2 flex zones A1, A2 or B1, B2 to be
shared.
Automatic activation
Place a pot on the zones A1, A2 or B1, B2.
Increase the power
Slide your finger over the left slider until you
reach the desired power level, both flex zones
display the chosen power.
Switch bridge function off
Simultaneously press the 2 zone selection keys
of the 2 combined zones.

4.3.11 Grill function

This special cooking function optimises heating and warming
in a cast iron pot/grill plate. This will ensure improved results of
the food you are cooking. Flex zones A1 and A2 or B1 and B2
will be automatically shared using the bridge function.
Grill function:
Activate
Select a cooking zone using the zone selection
key. Press
Increase the power
Glide your finger over the left slider until you
reach the desired power; both zones display
the chosen power.

4.3.12 Locking the controller

To avoid a hob selection being changed, during cleaning for
example, the controller must be locked (except the on/off
button).
This function can only be activated 10 seconds after switching
the hob on.

front zone pressed in for 3 seconds until the
"SLIDER" activation is shown.
Then press on the left of the "SLIDER" until the
activation stops

Unlock
Using the selection button, keep the left
front zone pressed in for 3 seconds until the

Then press on the right of the "SLIDER" until
the activation stops
Then slide the "SLIDER" from right to left.

4.3.13 "Chef" function

This function changes the hob into a number of zones with
different power levels. The zones are then automatically
switched on in bridge function.
The power levels can be changed if required. With the Chef
Display
function you therefore change your hob into a professional
appliance where you can set the zones for intensive cooking,
simmering or keeping warm.
