Inleiding
Deze set onderdelen bestaat uit een kabelboom, een paneel met
waarschuwingslampen en een contactslot.
Met behulp van de kabelboom kunnen op eenvoudige wijze, los
van elkaar opgestelde, Vetus motorinstrumenten, het paneel met
de waarschuwingslampen en het contactslot op de bedrading voor
een (Vetus) motor worden aangesloten.
De benodigde motorinstrumenten, n.l. toeren/urenteller, voltme-
ter, temperatuurmeter en oliedrukmeter dienen apart te worden
aangeschaft.
Er kunnen naar keuze motorinstrumenten met een zwarte of met
een beige wijzerplaat worden toegepast.
De spanning waar de motorinstrumenten voor geschikt zijn
moet overeenkomen met de accuspanning van de motor.
Let er op dat de spanning waar deze set voor geschikt is ook
overeenkomt met de accuspanning van de motor.
Installatie
Monteer het paneel met de waarschuwingslampen, het contactslot
en de motorinstrumenten in het paneel.

Maak een gat in het paneel volgens de boormal.
Plaats het kunststof deel, met de pakking, in het gat en bevestig
deze met de beugels en de zeskantmoeren, zie tekening.
Monteer de printkaart op het kunststof deel met de plaatschroeven.
Contactslot, zie tek. 4 en 5
Maak een gat in het paneel volgens de boormal.
Monteer het contactslot. Pas bij een rond gat de ring toe. Monteer,
bij een buiten geplaatst contactslot, gelijktijdig het deksel.
Motorinstrumenten
Raadpleeg de met de instrumenten meegeleverde handleiding voor
het inbouwen van de instrumenten.
Aanbrengen bedrading, zie tek. 6 t.e.m. 12
Raadpleeg de tekeningen.
- Plaats de 3 witte aansluitblokken op de printkaart, zie tek. 7.
- Plaats de grote zwarte aansluitblokken op het contactslot, zie
tek. 8.
- Sluit de instrumenten aan, zie tek. 9 t.e.m. 12.
Voedingsspanning 12 of 24 Volt, zie tek. 9
Let op het aansluiten van de juiste draad bij de voltmeter.
De aansluiting is afhankelijk van de voedingsspanning, 12 of 24 Volt.
Schaalverlichting motorinstrumenten, zie tek. 10
Sluit de rode of gele draad aan op de paarse draad afhankelijk van
de gewenste kleur van de schaalverlichting (rood of geel).
De schaalverlichting kan, indien gewenst, apart worden geschakeld
of gedimd. De schakelaar of dimmer wordt niet meegeleverd!
Het complete paneel kan nu middels tussenkabels op de motor
worden aangesloten.

Introduction
This set of parts consists of a cable harness, a panel with warning
lights and a key switch.
Vetus engine instruments, the panel with the warning lights and the
key switch can be easily be connected separately from each other to
the wiring of a (Vetus) engine using the cable harness.
The necessary instruments, namely rev/hour counter, voltmeter,
temperature meter and oil pressure meter must be purchased sep-
arately.
Engine instruments with either a black or beige dial may be used
according to choice.
The engine instruments must be suitable for working on the
same voltage as the engine battery voltage.
Make sure that the voltage for which this set is designed is the
same as that of the engine battery voltage.
Installation
Fit the panel with the warning lights, the key switch and the engine
instruments into the panel.

Cut a hole in the panel using the template provided.
Put the plastic part with the gasket in the hole and fix this with the
brackets and the hexagonal bolts, see the drawing.
Fit the printed circuit board to the plastic part using the sheet metal
screws provided.
Ignition lock, see drawings 4 and 5
Cut a hole in the panel using the template provided.
Fit the ignition lock. Use the ring if a round hole has been drilled. If
the ignition lock is fitted outside fit the cover at the same time.
Engine instruments
Consult the manuals provided with the instruments for how to build
these in.
Fit the wiring as shown in drawings 6 to 12.
- Push the 3 white connection blocks onto the printed circuit
board, see drawing 7.
- Push the large black connection blocks onto the key switch, see
drawing 8.
- Connect the instruments, see drawings 9 to 12.
Power supply 12 or 24 Volt, see drawing 9
Make sure to connect the correct wire to the voltmeter.
The connection depends on the voltage, 12 or 24 volts.
Engine instrument dial illumination, see drawing 10
Connect the red or yellow wire to the violet wire depending on the
colour of the dial illumination selected.
Dial illumination can be switched on separately or dimmed if
desired. A switch or dimmer is not supplied with the set!
The complete panel can now be connected to the engine using
intermediate cables.
