Instructions for use
• Accessories, e.g. handles, extra weights & straps
• Lubricate the following parts with Vaseline spray or similar at least every six
months:
• Slide bar, Vaseline spray (look at Image 21)
• The surface between lifting bar and wheel lift, Vaseline (look at Image 22)
8.2

Annual inspection/servicing procedures

For annual maintenance, use the inspection instructions found in Chapter 10.
Copy the form and record any performed maintenance work on it, if you do not
have a recording system of your own. Perform an annual three-part inspection,
maintenance and testing procedure as follows.
Inspect the condition of the rope, wheels and mounting points. Take
special care and carry out more inspections if the Pulley is constantly
used at maximum load.
8.3 Functional testing & inspection
Carry out functional testing without load and with maximum load. Test the
mechanism's movement and observe any unusual sounds, vibrations, etc. Also
pay attention to stability, unusual wobbling of mechanisms, looseness, etc. Check
for any damage; fractures, deformations, signs of unusual wear, possible
looseness of joints and fastenings, etc. Also check the sturdiness of attachment
points. Perform the following actions for the listed items:
o Wall mounting iron, screws and the mounting points on the wall
o Weight stack, selector pin and the fork connected to the lifting rod
o Rope, Carabiner hook and rope wheels
o Adjustment tube, upper roller frame and lower roller frame
o Sheet metal frame, structure and sliding bars
o The screws in the connection point of the upper and lower parts as well as
the back support of Mobile Speed Pulley
o Mobile Speed Pulley wheels, lifting bar and wheel lift
o If there are unusual sounds, determine the source of the sound
o Clean the Pulley after service if necessary
Check the locking rings and circlips of the pegs, tightness of the screws,
attachment and tolerances of components in mechanisms in the following
locations:
o Component bolt attachments, wheels, upper and lower frames, adjustment
tube etc
o Roller frame locking pin
o Mobile Speed Pulley lifting mechanism joints and wheels
