Before mounting: Screw both supplied spacer bolts into the
bottom of the housing.
Attach the bottom of the housing to the suspension rail,
and at the same time insert the antenna cable into the
housing.
Use the fixing screws to prevent the housing from detach-
ing.
Perform the installation, complete mounting of the housing.
6.2.3.3 Antenna installation for housings with mounting frame (ZG4)
For housings with their own complete mounting frame for wall
mounting, such as the ZG4 housing, the procedure is as follows:
Screw the mounting frame of the ZG4 housing to the wall.
Screw both antenna brackets to the wall at a distance of
approx. 2 cm above the mounting frame . Distance to the
edge of the housing: Left at least 10 cm or more (observe
length of antenna cable to mounting position of circuit
board). Right maximum to edge of housing.
Attach the housing to the mounting frame, and at the same
time insert the antenna cable into the housing.
Use the fixing screws to prevent the housing from detach-
ing.
Install circuit boards, observe mounting position of RFW.
Perform the installation, complete mounting of the housing.
6.2.3.4 Securing of the antenna cable
The length of the antenna cable (length 50 cm) is dimensioned in such a way that it is usually
sufficient up to the mounting position of the 4G transmission module, inside the housing. Route
the antenna cable on the back of the housing used, as shown in the illustration. Using an adhesive
plate and cable ties, secure the antenna cable to prevent any mechanical stress or tension from
being applied to the cable.
If the installation of two remote antennas is required due to restricted reception
conditions, the GSM outdoor antennas (Part No. 057591.20) can be used, see
"Use of remote antennas", page 54.
