INSTALLATION
1. Checking the installation distances
Before starting the installation it is essential to check the hinge and installation distances accord-
ing to the drawing above.
2. Installation of the door closer in the door leaf
The ATS-O tube door closer for lift doors with pivot hinges is installed in the top of the door
leaf. It has to be accessible from above as it is fixed with the fixing bracket at the back end of
the cylinder.
3. Fixing of the articulation to the door frame
Turn the joint fork with a flat wrench size 14 until the groove of the joint fork is in a horizontal
position and the offset of the articulation points away from the fulcrum.
Close the door slowly and doing this introduce the threaded end M8x24 with the serrated
washer in a ø 8.2 boring of the welding plate in the door frame. When the door is closed
attach the spring washer and moderately tighten the M8 nut.
ATTENTION: In doing so the joint fork should not turn.
4. Setting up
Carefully open the door until you can hold the joint fork with a flat wrench size 14. Then tighten
the M8 nut with 20 Nm ± 2 Nm.
5. Adjusting
The final damping is adjusted with the knurled screw at the end of the cylinder.
