The coefficient for the static test = 2.5 x load capacity respective of the chain segment. Attention: the load capacity
and in turn the test force for the staticl test of the individual chain segments (e.g. an individual chain strand of a
multi-leg lifting chain) differs from the total load capacity.
Reduction factors
The maximum load capacity of the chain sling arises from multiplying the load capacity on the tag with the
corresponding reduction factor according to the table as well as the accompanying factors in the table on page 28.
