Install the Media Take-up Unit
Follow the procedure below to install the Media Take-up Unit on the stand upper and lower stays. Use
the hex driver provided with the Media Take-up Unit or the printer. If you will install the unit at the
same time as the printer, go to step 5.

Hold down the Power button for a second or more.
After Shut Down.. Please Wait.. is shown on the Display Screen, the printer shuts off.

Unplug the power cord from the outlet.

Lift the front Basket Rod (a) gently to release the lock, lower the rod toward the front, and
push it all the way back. Remove the front Basket Rod from the left and right Basket Rods.
Roll up the Basket Cloth and put it behind the Bottom Stand Stay.
Shut Down..
