Intended use
Medical products for medical footcare for the patient which is in line
with the indications.
Indications:
• The product serves to cushion the foot in various anatomical and
functional areas to treat complaints, injuries and pain of various
aetiologies in the forefoot, midfoot and hindfoot.
Contra-indications
• Currently unknown. If necessary, the product should not be used in
direct contact with the skin if the user has a known silicone allergy.
Equally, the product may not be worn on open wounds on the foot. If
the patient presents with an unsteady gait, the product should be
implemented under close observation by the therapeutic team. In
the event of clear signs of critical gait characteristics, the products
being evaluated should cease to be used in these circumstances, in
order to prevent the patient from falling.
Important Notes
• This medical product is to be used exclusively for orthotic treatment
of the foot and is only suitable for use on unbroken skin. It may not be
worn on open wounds.
• This medical product is intended for multiple use by one individual
patient.
• The medical product must be issued by experts or trained personnel.
• The stress that the product is placed under due to general wearing,
salves, skin moisture and environmental influences can reduce its
service life and impair the medical effectiveness of the product.
Therefore, we recommend that your doctor and/or specialist retailer
checks the product regularly.
• It is not permitted to make any changes to the product.
