Usage of the machine by children or persons with disabilities
•
Only trained and instructed persons over 10 years of age may work on the machine.
•
The machine may be used by children aged 10 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have

obtained supervision or instruction concerning use of the machine in a safe way and
understand the dangers involved.

Children must not be allowed to play with the machine under any circumstances.

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

The sealing bar becomes hot up to approx. 150 °C during use. The sealing seam of the
sealed vacuum bag remains hot shortly after sealing as well. Children must not touch the

machine as long as the sealing bar and the sealing seam are hot.

Danger of suffocation! The thin foil of the vacuum bags can get stuck on the mouth or

nose and hinder breathing. Keep the packaging material away from babies and small
children. Do not use the packaging material in cots, beds, carrier bags or playpens. The
packaging material is not a toy.
Protection from burns
The sealing bar becomes approx. 150 °C hot during operation. Do not touch
the sealing bar and the sealing seam.
Eye injuries
•
A damaged or scratched chamber lid can implode and splinter. If the chamber lid is
damaged, do not switch on the machine. The chamber lid must be replaced immediately
by the manufacturer.
•
Do not scratch the chamber lid.
•
Do not use the chamber lid as a storage surface, work surface or cutting surface.
Hygiene
In case of lack of hygiene in handling the product and the machine, the product and the
package may be dirty. Clean the machine, work equipment, work environment, and hands
regularly before and after each use. This prevents contamination of the product and cross-
contamination.
Protection from further injuries
Injuries may occur if parts of the body are sucked in with the vacuum hose.
