24. Use the three #2 x 5/16 inch sheet metal screws to secure
the tail wheel bracket to the fuselage. Use a #1 Phillips
screwdriver to tighten the screws.
25. Slide the wheel collar against the tail wheel bracket. Make
sure there is enough clearance that the rudder can move
freely. Tighten the setscrew in the wheel collar using a
1.5mm hex wrench.

RECEIVER INSTALLATION

26. Install the receiver in the fuselage using double-sided foam
tape. Refer to the receiver instructions for more details on
mounting the receiver and routing the antenna.
 Use clear tape to secure the antenna so they don't
interfere with the operation of the servos.

RUDDER AND ELEVATOR SERVO CONNECTIONS

27. Connect the rudder (1) and elevator (2) servos to the receiver.
Center the rudder and elevator sticks and trims. Check that
the pushrod is 90-degrees to the servo arm. If not, either
remove the servo arm and adjust, or use the sub-trim when
using a computer radio.
28. Connect the clevis to the outer hole of the elevator control
horn.

29. Use a straight edge or ruler to check the alignment of the
elevator to the stabilizer. The ruler will lay fl at across both
when correctly aligned. Adjust the clevis on the pushrod as
necessary to align the elevator. Make sure to slide the silicone
retainer over the forks of the clevis to prevent it from coming
loose in fl ight.
30. Connect the clevis to the outer hole of the rudder control horn.
31. Use a straight edge or ruler to check the alignment of the
rudder to the fi n. The ruler will lay fl at across both when
correctly aligned. Adjust the clevis on the pushrod as
necessary to align the rudder. Make sure to slide the silicone
retainer over the forks of the clevis to prevent it from coming
loose in fl ight.

MOUNTING THE COWLING AND BATTERY

32. Slide the cowling on the fuselage.

33. Attach the cowl using four 3mm x 12mm self-tapping screws
and a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Two screws are used on each
side of the cowling.
