15. Flex the elevator through its range of motion a few times to
break in the hinges.
16. Remove the magnetically-retained lower fuselage cover from
the fuselage. Set it aside in a safe location.
17. Slide the stabilizer into the slot in the fuselage. The control
horn will face the bottom of the fuselage. Make sure the
stabilizer is fully forward and the slot in the stabilizer aligned
with the slot in the fuselage for the fi n.
18. Break in the rudder hinges using the same method as the
elevator hinges. Slide the fi n into position. The tail wheel
bracket will require manipulation during the installation of
the fi n.

19. Slide one #4 washer on each of the threaded rods.
20. Thread the 4-40 nuts on the threaded rods.
21. Use a 1/4-inch nut driver to tighten the nuts. Make sure not to
over-tighten the nuts which could damage the fuselage or fi n.
22. Place the lower fuselage cover back into position on the
fuselage.
Optional
23. Place a few drops of thin CA in each of the three holes for the
tail wheel bracket screws. Make sure the CA has fully cured
before proceeding.
