5 PROGRAMMING & GRINDING

5.1 Programming the Individual Portions with the S-Automatik 64

Programming the grinding time for the coffee beans takes place via the display.
The time for a single shot (one portion) is programmed in menu item t1.
The time for a double shot (two portions) is programmed in menu item t2.
Press '+' and '-' simultaneously until 't1' appears on
the display.
Press '+' in order to reach the submenu of 't1'.
Here you can adjust the grind time to a tenth of a
second by quickly pressing '+' or '-'.
Wait a short while after adjusting the time until 't1'
reappears on the display.
Press '-' so that 't2' is indicated.
If you would like to adjust 't2' only and keep 't1'
unchanged, press '-' on the display immediately
after 't1' appears in order to reach 't2' directly.
Quickly press '+' to increase and '-' to decrease the
tenths of a second.
Wait a short while to exit the program.
