5.2.2.1 Standard Mode

The Standard Mode allows for simple and comfortable grinding of a single or double shot.
Single Shot
Press:
The line is now on the left side of the display
For one portion tap 1 time briefly on the grinding button with the portafilter.
Grinding starts and the time runs on the left side of the display backwards from the preset time t1
When the programmed time for a portion is reached, grinding stops automatically.
You can stop the grinding process early by briefly tapping the grinding button. The display will
show the remaining time of the preset time that was not required.
Double Shot
Press:
The line is now on the right side of the display
For two portions briefly tap with the portafilter on the grinding button.
Grinding starts and the time runs on the right side of the display backwards form the preset time t2
When the programmed time for a portion is reached, grinding stops automatically.
You can stop the grinding process early by briefly tapping the grinding button. The display will
show the remaining time of the preset time that was not required.
TIP: Programming the portions after determining the remaining time.
By determining the remaining time of a portion in the Standard Mode, you can easily program the grinding
times t1 and t2 accordingly.
Single Shot (one portion) is programmed in menu item t1.
Double Shot (two portions) is programmed in menu item t2.
