Stopping the grinding process by pressing the grinding button again
If required, also the automatic grinding of a single or double shot can also be stopped prematurely:
To stop the grinding process of a single shot, quickly press the grinding button TWICE.
To stop the grinding process of a double shot, press the grinding button ONCE.

5.2.2.3 Manual Mode

The S-Automatik 64 grinder allows for not only automatic grinding, but may be operated as a manual grinder
as well.
In order to activate the manual grinding mode, please follow the instruction below:
Press '+' and '-' simultaneously until ,'t1' appears on
the display.
Press '-' twice and 'Man' will appear on the display.
In order to activate the Manual Grinding Mode, press
'+' once or twice until 'On' appears on the display.
'Man' is now shortly displayed, and then changes
quickly to the standby mode. Now, the Manual
Grinding Mode is activated.
To grind manually, press the grinding button until the
desired amount of coffee has been ground.
Press '+' once or twice until 'Off' appears on the
display, in order to deactivate the Manual Grinding
Mode.
'Man' lights up on the display and then changes to
the standby mode. Now, the Manual Grinding Mode is
deactivated.
If the Manual Grinding Mode is set to 'Off', grinding manually is possible as well. However, the
grinder acts temporarily slightly delayed in this mode when the grinding button is kept pushed
down.

5.3 Display of the Quantity Counter (S-Automatik 64)

The quantity counter (S-Automatik 64 only) will indicate the entire amount of ground portions to you. Please
note that a double shot will count as two single shots.
