This quality luminaire was built according to the rules of technology. The luminaire was built, tested and delivered in proper
condition. To maintain this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user must follow the instructions and warnings of the
operating instructions.
It is to assume that a safe operation is not possible
• if the luminaire shows visible damage.
• if the luminaire is no longer working properly.
• after prolonged storage under inconvenient conditions.
• after heavy transport stresses.
In these cases, the luminaire must be sent in for repair.
INFORMATION!
Repairs to the luminaire must be carried out only by the manufacturer, his customer service department or a qualified
electrician. A qualified electrician has the professional training, knowledge and experience, as well as knowledge of
the pertinent standards, to assess the work they are required to carry out and recognize possible hazards. Warranty
repairs are carried out only by the manufacturer.
Safety instructions for luminaires with rechargeable batteries (EM version)
• Do not operate the luminaire at high temperatures (above 40 °C).
• Avoid direct sunlight. This can damage the batteries! In case of fire, never extinguish with water.
• The rechargeable battery may only be used with a suitable charger. There is a risk of overheating and the
risk of dangerous liquids escaping.
• Protect the luminaire from violent shocks, heavy weight loads and other harmful influences that can damage the
rechargeable battery.
• Do not charge the rechargeable battery in extremely high or low temperatures. The recommended ambient
temperature is between +10 and +30 °C.
• Rechargeable battery performance may decrease when used in low temperatures.
• Storage for too long can damage the rechargeable battery. Never store the luminaire in a deeply discharged state
for a long period of time.
• To activate new rechargeable batteries, two to three complete charge / discharge cycles are necessary for the
rechargeable batteries to reach their rated capacity. The activation process is defined in such a way that the
rechargeable battery runs through two to three charging (24 hours) and discharging cycles (1 / 2 / 3 hours).
Applies to luminaires with Li-Ion battery:
• For a storage period of several months, a state of charge of approx. 70 percent should be aimed for.
• During transport (especially air freight), the applicable national and international transport regulations must be
observed.

transport etc. ALDEBARAN® SMARTLINE RP110 / RP72 LED luminaires are developed to offer you optimal illumination
directly at the workplace.
Operation in a corrosive or potentially explosive environment is not permitted.
