FILLING THE WATER TANK
Please Note!
■
Do not overfill the water tank!
■
Never pour any cleaning agent or ad-
ditives into the water tank. This might
damage the device.

We recommend that you pour
preferably distilled water into the
water tank (13) in order to prevent
calcification, particularly if your
tap water is very hard.
1. Ensure that the device has been
switched off and disconnected from
the mains power.
2. Remove the water tank from the main
unit (5) (see the "Assembly" chapter).
3. Twist the water tank cap (14) a little
anticlockwise and take it off.
4. Pour cold, clean water into the water
tank. It holds up to 300 ml.
5. Insert the water tank cap into the
water tank and twist it clockwise to fix
it in place.
6. Insert the water tank into the main unit.
USE
Please Note!
■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed. The
plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated. The mains voltage must
match the technical data of the device.
■
Lay the connecting cable so that it is
not squashed, bent or laid over sharp

Never operate the device without
water.

Very cold glass surfaces (windows in
winter) must not be cleaned with the
device. They may shatter if they come

Never direct the steam on one spot
for longer than around 10 seconds.
Otherwise this may damage the
surface.

When handling the device, always
hold the connecting cable with
one hand away from the cleaning
foot (11) or attachment.

Please Note!
■
To use the device on laminate floor-
ing, the following must be ensured:
○ The laminate must be properly laid
and have no gaps or cracks into
which moisture could penetrate.
○ Test the device first on an incon-
spicuous spot. Then check it for any
waves or ingress of moisture. If the
test spot is unblemished, the device
can be used to clean the entire
laminate floor.

Before using the device, always check
the floor cloth for signs of wear.
A floor cloth that is worn or has holes
in it must not be used. The flooring
could be damaged.
■
Wear closed shoes when cleaning
floors.
■
If the device is parked after use,
a wet spot may form beneath the
cleaning foot. With sensitive floors,
