6. The quantity of steam can be adjusted
by turning the steam quantity control.
Please Note: When the steam quantity
control is turned, it takes a few seconds
for the quantity of steam to adjust.
7. Guide the attachment slowly over the
surface to be cleaned.
8. After use, move the On / Off switch to
the 0 position. The control lamps go
out.
After Use
1. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.
2. Allow the device and accessories to
cool down completely and then clean
them.
3. Remove the water tank (14) from the
main unit (5) and completely empty it.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning the Device
Please Note!
■
Do not use any solvents, aggressive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads for
cleaning. They could damage the
device.
■
The attachments are not machine-
washable, dishwasher-safe or suitable
for tumble drying! Only ever allow
them to dry in the air!
•
Wipe down the main unit (5), handle
pole (3) and cleaning foot (11) with
carpet glider (10) with a soft, slightly
damp cloth if necessary and then dry
with a soft cloth.
•
Remove any fluff, hair or dust from
the brush attachment (19). Rinse the
attachments and the adapter (18) with
lukewarm water and a mild cleaning
agent if necessary. Allow them to dry
in the air.

Wash the microfibre cloth (21) and the
floor cloth (22) in accordance with the
instructions on the washing label. Do
not use any fabric softener or bleach!
Wash separately or with the same
colours!
Storing the Device
•
Turn up the upper hook for winding
up the cable (2) and wind the con-
necting cable around the upper hook
and lower hook.
•
Before you store away the device,
make sure that the water tank (14) has
been completely emptied.
•
Store the device in a cool, dry place
which is out of the reach of children
and animals.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work. / The con-
trol lamps (8) do not light up.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.

Correct the fit.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the electrical
distributor (fuse box).
The device is not switched on.
►
Move the On / Off switch (16) to the
I position.
