Always place the device upright on
the water tank even during short
pauses. Pull out the mains plug during
longer pauses.
■
Immediately after smoothing, place
the still hot device down a minimum
distance of 15 cm away from walls,
furniture and other objects.
■
Never cover up the steam nozzles and
do not insert any objects into them.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to

■
Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so
that the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated.
■
Never direct the steam directly at the
connecting cable or parts containing
electrical components (such as inside
ovens, fridges, at switches and lights,
microwave ovens).
■
Never exceed the maximum fi ll level
to prevent overfl owing (note the MAX
marking on the water tank!).
■
Only activate the steam release
button when the water tank is fi lled
with water as otherwise the water
pump may be damaged and the
useful service life of the device may
be shortened.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is not squashed, bent or laid over
sharp edges and does not come into
contact with hot surfaces (e.g. of the
device).
■
When you pull it out of the plug
socket, always pull on the mains plug
and never the mains cable.
■
Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket if an error occurs during
operation, when there is a power cut
or before a thunderstorm.

Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■
Protect the device from other heat
sources, fi re, persistent moisture and
impacts.
■
Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
■
Use and store the device at room
temperature, do not expose it to
extreme temperatures or temperature
fl uctuations.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

Please Note!
■
After use, the device may still be
hot. Wait until the water tank has
cooled down completely before
fi lling / emptying it.
■
Pour no more than 130 ml (note the
MAX marking) of water into the water
tank.
 
The device can be operated with
both tap water and distilled water.
However, if you use tap water,
regular descaling will be required
(see the "Cleaning and Storage"
chapter – "Descaling"). If you use
distilled water, there is no need to
descale the device.
1. Press the release button for the water
tank (1) and remove the water tank (7)
(Picture B).
2. Fill the measuring cup (8) with water.
3. Pull the water tank cap out of the
water tank. Please note that it cannot
be completely detached.
4. Pour the water from the measuring
cup into the water tank. Only fi ll it
up to the MAX marking, repeat if
necessary (Picture C).
