Power levels

There are 5 power levels with the Microwave
mode.
Setting Applications
P10
Gentle defrosting, e.g.
with gateau or puff pastry
products.
P30
Defrosting frozen food. Cook
rice, pasta and dumplings, or
heat baked egg custard.
P50
More compact dishes which
require a long cooking time
when using the oven, e.g.
beef dishes.
P80
Longer cooking times for
compact dishes such as
roasts, meatloaf or plate
dishes. Including for delicate
dishes such as cheese
sauces or pound cake. When
using this setting, sauces do
not boil over and dishes cook
evenly, without the edges
turning hard or the dish
overflowing.
P100
Fast cooking/heating up,
e.g. for soups, casseroles,
canned food, hot beverages,
vegetables, fish etc.
1. Press the "Function" button (14).
The display (8) shows

press the "Function" button (14) several
times, or turn the function dial (12) clock-
wise.

the "Start/+30 Sec./Confirm" button (11).

4. Set the cooking time to the desired dura-
tion using the function dial.
You can select the cooking time in the fol-
lowing steps:

5. Press the "Start /+30sec./Confirm" but-
ton (11).
The cooking process will start.
QuickStart Microwave mode
The QuickStart function does not
work with the Grill, Convection and
Defrosting modes, nor does it work
with the automatic programmes.
• To start the microwave mode straight
away, press the "Start/+30 Sec./Confirm"
button (11) when the appliance is in sleep
mode.
The appliance switches on and is operat-
ed for 30 seconds at full power (
time indicator begins counting down.
• Each additional time you press the
"Start/+30 Sec./Confirm" button (11), the
cooking time is increased by 30 seconds
(up to a maximum of 95 minutes).
As soon as the cooking time has finished, a
signal will sound 5 times, and the appliance
switches off. The display (8) now shows the
time again.
