Stir and turn

CAUTION
Risk of burns!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to burns. Accessible parts, ac-
cessories and dishes become very hot
during operation.
■ Do not touch the parts of the hous-
ing!
■ Food is sometimes heated uneven-
ly. The containers should not get as
hot as the food inside. Please there-
fore ensure to check the temperature
of any food thoroughly and carefully,
especially for children.
■ Before heating up baby food, please
remove the screw cap and suction
teat from the feed bottle.
■ The contents of feeding bottles and
baby food jars shall be stirred or shak-
en and the temperature checked be-
fore consumption, in order to avoid
burns..
• Baby food in particular must be stirred
carefully to avoid burns. The temperature
of the food must be checked by testing a
small sample.
• When using poultry, dishes containing raw
egg and when heating up food, please
ensure that these are thoroughly cooked,
in order that pathogens such as salmonel-
la are completely destroyed.
• Stirring and turning the dish halfway
through the cooking time is especially
important, due to the fact that microwave
dishes are not evenly heated through.

Tips on defrosting

WARNING
Health hazard!
The defrost water can contain harm-
ful bacteria, especially with meat and
poultry.
■ Avoid all physical contact with defrost
water.
■ Pour away the defrost water and do
not use it for anything else.
■ Please ensure to thoroughly clean the
crockery you have used.
• Ideally, use food which has been frozen
at -18 °C in portions that are as thin as
possible.
• Removal all packaging.
• Place the food in an appropriately large
container, which can then collect the de-
frost water.
• Do not cover the food.
