To make feeding at the CATSOMAT as relaxed as possible for your cat, the device has been
programmed such that the cooling and the ventilation are deactivated for 15 minutes at feeding times.
This enables your darling to enjoy his food in complete tranquillity.

17. Changing the feeding tray

As a standard feature, your CATSOMAT is fitted with a feeding tray adaptor (point 4) for the
7-compartment tray included in the scope of delivery. If you wish to switch operation to the
10-compartment feeding tray available as an accessory, you must fit the corresponding adaptor with
the smaller opening. For this, proceed as follows:
- Press the unlocking buttons (point 8) on both sides and open the lid (point 1).
- Remove the 4 screws on the feeding tray adaptor (point 21) and take out the 7-compartment feeding
tray adaptor.
- Now attach the 10-compartment adaptor with the smaller opening and screw it on carefully. It is
imperative that you ensure the correct seat of the adaptor.
- You can now place the 10-compartment feeding tray on the tray actuator (point 18) without pressure
and through turning slightly.
The feeding tray adaptor (point 4) must always fit the corresponding feeding tray (point 5)
since, otherwise, the device will not function perfectly. Caution: If you use an adaptor
for a 10-compartment feeding tray on a 7-compartment feeding tray, this will block the
rotation of the feeding tray. If you use an adaptor for a 7-compartment feeding tray on a
10-compartment feeding tray, cooled air will penetrate out as the wrong adaptor does not
cover the opening to the feeding tray perfectly.

18. Cleaning

Correct and regular care is very important for the sustainable functioning of your CATSOMAT.
The feeding tray can be cleaned with water or even in the dishwasher. The device itself can be wiped
with a slightly moist and soft cloth as required.
The inner tray of the lower part of the device can be cleaned with a soft, moist cloth following removal
of the feeding tray. Do not apply pressure and subsequently dry the inner tray again with a soft cloth.
When cleaning, you must ensure that the photo lens for recognition of the feeding tray (fig. 17) is not
scratched, dirtied or damaged. Additionally, the upper cooling plate (fig. 16) should be wiped regularly
with a cloth.
Please carry out a continuous check on whether the round hollow areas of the infrared
protection system on the left and right of the rounded feeding-tray opening of the lid are
free from dirt and remains of food. If dirt is present, clean these thoroughly but carefully,
