11. Programming of feeding times

In the settings menu, sub-item "feeding times", you can enter new feeding times or change or delete
previously entered times.

Entering new feeding times

In order to set a new feeding time, please select the sub-item "new feeding time" in the menu.
Now, first select the desired feeding day. It is, however,not possible to enter a calendar day into your
CATSOMAT. You enter the desired day for the respective feeding time by entering a number. For the
current day, please enter "Day 0", for the following calendar day "Day 1". Proceed in the same manner
for any following days.
Day 0 is always the day on which you activate the feeding mode of your CATSOMAT.
Caution: The foregoing also applies if you have deactivated the feeding mode while the device
is in ongoing operation and then re-activated it.
After selecting the desired feeding day, you can now set the feeding time. The desired time can be
selected by using the arrow buttons. If you press and hold the arrow button for more than 3 seconds,
the time setting will jump forward in 15 minute intervals.
The feeding time set is confirmed using the E-button. The display now shows the next feeding time
selected as well as the corresponding day. To program additional feeding times, go to "new feeding
time" and repeat the procedure described above.
You reach the settings menu via the menu item "Exit".
The feeding times programmed by you are not activated until you have returned to the
information menu from the settings menu. For this, press the Menu button. The display will
now show the next feeding time. The preceding figure indicates how many further feeding
times are still programmed.
The maximum number of feeding times that can be programmed depends on the
feeding tray inserted. If you use the 7-compartment feeding tray this is a maximum of
6 programmable feeding times; analogously, with the 10-compartment feeding tray a
maximum of 9 feeding times. When the maximum number of programmable feeding times
has been entered, the system will no longer offer the selection item "new feeding time".
The feeding times programmed naturally remain stored even in the event of an interruption
to the power supply – be this through switching-off of the device or a power failure.
