If the pre-warming function is activated, the only food tray element heated up is that which
turns into the opening at the next programmed feeding time. This is done with the help of
an electronically controlled heating plate beneath this compartment, whose maximum
temperature is approx. 40°C. The pre-warming ensures that the food in the compartment
has reached a temperature of roughly 12°C to 16°C by feeding time – depending on the target
cooling temperature set.
Given a programmed cooling temperature equal to or above +11°C, the pre-warming function
should not be activated for reasons of food hygiene.

14. Voice recording and playback for attraction of animals

You can record an individual call for attracting your darling using the attached microphone (point. 10).
This will then be played automatically at the feeding times programmed by you.
To record a new call for attracting animals, please select the menu item "record bird call" in the
settings menu. Again press the E-button to start the recording. The bird call can now be recorded with
a maximum length of approx. 20 seconds. Please speak clearly and at an appropriate volume into the
microphone on the front of your CATSOMAT. You can end your recording by pressing the C-button. You
then return directly to the settings menu.
To test the bird call recorded, select the item "play bird call" in the settings menu. By again pressing
the E-button you can play your individual bird call. After playing, you automatically return to the
settings menu.

15. Time setting, selecting the menu language

The time can be set under the "time" item in the settings menu of your CATSOMAT. The time is
changed via the arrow buttons. As soon as you have entered your desired time, please confirm this
with the E-button.
You can also alter the menu language of your CATSOMAT analogously to this procedure under the
"language" item in the settings menu. The CATSOMAT currently supports German and English.
