5. Short product description

The CATSOMAT is a premium-category automatic feeding device designed especially for the needs
of cats and their owners. It enables you to provide good care to your pet at home without
much organizational effort while you are away on a planned tour or at short notice.
As a standard feature, the device comes with a feeding tray containing the exceptional amount
of seven food chambers enabling you to provide your cat with a varied diet. The electro-
thermal cooling integrated in the lid is a worldwide innovation and appears in this product
category for the first time ever. Thanks to it, six out of the seven food chambers are kept
constantly cool according to your temperature setting. Thus, the food remains "fridge-fresh" at
all times and does not develop any bad fermentation smell, as would be the case otherwise.
All food chambers can be programmed individually to precise times and for several days ahead.
Thanks to an integrated voice playback (maximum length 20 seconds) you can record a call for your
darling to come and get its food. Another world innovation is CATSOMAT's pre-warming function
especially designed for cats who cannot tolerate cold food. If activated, it warms the selected food
chamber or the food contained in it to an agreeable temperature without neglecting your personal
safety and the safety of your pet: this is why the CATSOMAT has an infrared protective system which
prevents turning of the feeding tray if the light barrier is broken. What is more, the built-in battery
ensures that the functions necessary to feed the animal are maintained over a period of up to
100 hours (does not apply to the cooling and pre-warming function) even given a power failure.
All programming entries for the CATSOMAT are via an intuitive five-button input screen whose
information is shown on an easy-to-read display. We have made every conceivable effort to develop a
high-end product in technological and optical terms for both you and your darling, which, by the way,
is 100% "tamper-proof against a cat's manipulation efforts". The device's safety is further confirmed by
the "tested safety" seal of TÜV Süd.
