3. Do daily maintenance. Refer to
schedule on page 13 .
4. Make sure that the product is assembled correctly
and is not damaged.
5. Make sure that only approved persons are in the
work area.
6. Disconnect the cable to the battery charger and put
the cable in the product. Refer to
product on page 10 .
7. Put the product on the work area. Make sure that
the transportation of the product to and in the work
area is done safely and correctly. Refer to
safety on page 6 .
8. Install a tool. Refer to
15 . Make sure that the tool has the correct angle
and pitch for the operation.
9. Make sure that the blade is sharp. If it is necessary,
replace or sharpen the blade. Refer to
the blade on page 15 and To sharpen the blade on
page 15 .
10. If you use a self-scoring blade, make sure that the
angles at the ends of the blade (A) are sharp.
To select the correct blade dimension
and installation position
WARNING:
blades are very sharp.
All available blade types can be used for the approved
materials: hardwood, ceramics, linoleum, vinyl, carpet,
adhesives and glue. Refer to
12 .
It is necessary to select correct dimension and
installation of the blade for the material to remove and
the subfloor type. Blades of different dimension can be
necessary during the same work operation.
• Select a blade of smaller dimension in these
situations:
a) At the start of an operation.
b) Operation on materials with strong adhesive.
c) Operation on hard materials.

• Select a blade of wider dimension in these
situations:
a) Operation on soft materials.
• Select a thicker heavy duty blade for hard materials.
A thicker blade also has a longer life.
• Install the blade with the bevel up for removal of
materials from concrete floors.
• Install the blade with the bevel down for removal of
materials from wood floors and soft subfloors.
To start the product
1. Sit on the seat, put your feet on the footrests and
fasten the seat belt.
2. Set the movement controls in neutral position.
3. Pull the emergency stop button out.
4. Turn the ON/OFF key clockwise.
5. Look at the battery status indicator to make sure that
the batteries are sufficiently charged.
To operate the product
1. Operate the movement controls to move the product.
