The recording is only black/white
• Due to the principle, the recording at night with the IR-LEDs activated will always be black/white and
never in colour.
Image on the connected screen/TV is black/white or colours are not right
• Check whether you have chosen the right video standard (PAL/NTSC) in the DVR.
No image on the screen/TV connected to the DVR
• Switch on the DVR and your screen/TV.
• Check the cable connection between the DVR and screen/TV. Do not swap the audio and video cables.
• Check if you have chosen the right input channel at your screen/TV.
The buttons on the DVR or the IR remote control have no function
• While a recording is running, many functions will not work (e.g. calling the OSD menu.
