Für den Abtastkopf muss im Regelfall ein einfaches Adapterstück
mit einer geeigneten Ankoppelfläche für den Kupplungsmagneten
angefertigt werden. Der Trägerkörper muss aus ferromagnetischem
Stahl sein, damit der Kupplungsmagnet des Abtastkopfes haften kann.
In most cases, a simple adapter must be fabricated for the scanning
head with a suitable surface for the coupling magnets. The carrier must
be of ferromagnetic steel so that the coupling magnet can adhere to the
scanning head.

Die Ankoppelfläche muss auf eine Länge von 50 mm innerhalb
1 mm senkrecht zur Maschinenführung sein (vertikal und horizontal).
The coupling surface must be perpendicular to within 1 mm over 50
mm of the machine guideway (vertical and horizontal).
