The system is set to IDS 2 at the factory. A change to or deactivation of the IDS is
carried out in the System settings sub-menu. Press the arrow buttons to select the IDS
menu item, and confirm using OK.
You may select the following settings:
IDS OFF: Intelligent Dosing System is deactivated.
IDS 1: Recommended for indoor pools and small outdoor pools
IDS 2: Recommended for pools up to 45 m³ with a dosing pump performance of 1,6 l/h
IDS 3: Recommended for pools >45 m³ with a dosing pump performance of 1,6 l/h

3.6 Switch on delay

Corresponds to the start delay of the control unit in minutes. Every time the system is
started, the dosing is locked until the delay has been processed.
Rule of thumb: Delay in minutes = Backwash time + 2 min
The set switch on delay is displayed, along with the minimum and maximum setting
values.

3.7 Limit pH

The dosing time limit prevents dangerous incorrect dosage in the event that the
electrode fails. The value must be adjusted to the appropriate pool size. For
example: In the event of an accident, with a set dosing time limit of 60 minutes, a
maximum of 1,6 litres of water care product can be dosed (pump performance 1,6 l/h).
After this, the system switches itself off. Limit appears in the display, the triggered
alarm can be acknowledged by pressing the OK button.
The dosing time as well as the minimum and maximum setting values are displayed.

3.8 Limit disinfection

Description of the dosing time limit for disinfection, see section 3.7

pH settings

4.1 Calibration of the pH probe

Since pH measuring probes are subject to a certain level of variance, they must be
calibrated for every measuring and control device. Prior to initial operation, the
protective cap must be removed from the probe. The probe must be free of
contamination, oils and greases. The diaphragm (small point on the tip of the probe)
must also be free from deposits, contamination and crystallisations. For this reason, the
glass body should not come into contact with your hands.
