8 Installation

8.1 Installation instructions

• For heat recovery unit operation (ventilation and
air extraction in a 60-second cycle), set up unit
pairs.
• The room air control has plug-in connection ter-
minals, which can be taken off for wiring.
• When using more than 2 ventilation units, we
recommend installing the room air control in an
electronic switch box, to be supplied by the cus-
tomer. This provides sufficient space for the
connection of the cables to the room air control.
• Only mount internal covers on flat surfaces and
without any distortion to avoid noise.
• Units/controls not suited for outdoor use. Pro-
tect ventilation units/controls from moisture and
wetness.
• Use RLS/DS controls only outside protection
zones 0, 1 and 2.
• Use PP 45 ventilation units only outside pro-
tection zones 0, 1 and 2.
• Use PPB 30 O PPB 30 K ventilation units only
outside of protection zone 0.
• Use PPB 30 RC ventilation units only outside
of protection zones 0 and 1.
