Blade-Control Switch (Power
Takeoff)
The blade-control switch, represented by a
power-takeoff (PTO) symbol, engages and
disengages power to the mower blades.
Brake Pedal
Use the brake pedal to stop or slow the machine.
Parking Brake
To engage the parking brake, fully press down the
brake pedal, lift the locking lever, and remove your

Fully press down the brake pedal to release the
parking brake and pedal.
If the machine moves while the parking brake is
engaged, the parking brake needs to be adjusted.

Traction-Control Pedal
Use the traction-control pedal to vary the ground
speed of the machine. The farther you press the
pedal, the faster the machine moves.
