USE OF INFRARED HEAT
Sunshower uses infrared lamps with a full IR spectrum and an optimum in the short and medium
wave range. The short wave penetrates deeply into the skin (to a depth of 5 mm). This warms the
body effectively and optimally from the inside. The waste substances are removed faster, blood
vessels dilate and muscles become more flexible, thus improving mobility. The medium wave is
completely absorbed into the top layers of your skin, creating the warm feeling.
USING THE SUNSHOWER
• Make sure you stand about 45 cm away from the Sunshower when using the UV function.
• Press the IR icon for the infrared session, or the UV icon for the UV session and put on the UV
goggles. Do not look into the IR or UV lamps.
• The IR session is set to last 8 minutes, and the UV session is set to 10 minutes.
• The number of LEDs lit on the display corresponds to the number of minutes remaining for
that session.
• Pressing the ON/OFF button will end the session prematurely.
• After each session, the Sunshower will cool for 4 minutes before it can be used again. The
remaining cooling time will flash.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Users may only clean the outside of the Sunshower.
• The Sunshower may only be cleaned manually.
• Never use a high-pressure washer to clean the Sunshower.
• Do not clean the Sunshower with the device is switched on.
Use mild cleaning agents to clean the Sunshower: glass cleaner or "all-purpose cleaner" can cor-
rode and dull the glass. A special Sunshower maintenance package is available. It consists of a
mild cleaner and a coating that protects the Sunshower against limescale. For more information,

REPLACING THE LAMPS

The UV output of the low-dose UV lamps decreases over time. The life of the Philips HPA Cleo
Swift 250-500 is 750 hours. After 600 hours of use, the control panel will display a code, see
ERROR MESSAGES, indicating that the capacity of the lamps has decreased to a level at which
replacement is recommended (this happens after more than four years of normal use). You can
continue to use the Sunshower.
Have the lamps (Philips HPA Cleo Swift 250-500) replaced by Sunshower. PLEASE NOTE: if other
lamps or glass plates are used, this will affect the UV radiation. You are not allowed to replace
the lamps yourself, opening the Sunshower will render the warranty void.
The IR lamps (500 W) have a long lifespan of 2,000 hours with minimal performance degradation.
They should only be replaced if they no longer work at all.
WARRANTY & SERVICE
UV light
The Sunshower carries a 2-year warranty. This warranty is subject to correct installation in com-
bination with your proof of purchase. The UV lamps are not covered by the terms of the inter-
national warranty. Sunshower is only responsible for product and design defects. Sunshower
cannot be held responsible for the consequences of careless use of this product or for the conse-
quences of violating local regulations. The right to claim under warranty will lapse in the event
of damage caused by failure to observe these instructions for use. We are not liable for material
damage or personal injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions.
In such cases, the warranty will be void.
