Fondue

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
The fondue pot 2 and its contents become very hot during operation.
Do not touch or move the fondue pot 2 or the appliance until it has
cooled down sufficiently.
The hot contents of the fondue pot 2 can splash and/or froth up heavily
when you put in moist or frozen food. Thaw frozen food beforehand and
pat moist food dry. Always dip food slowly into the hot contents of the
fondue pot 2.
Always keep a safe distance from the hot grill plate 3.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not heat the fondue pot 2 using other heat sources, such as a hotplate
or microwave.
Never place the fondue pot 2 on the hot griddle 3 without contents.
Always add at least 500 ml of liquid into the fondue pot 2.
The fondue pot 2 is not suitable for frying or steaming food.
You can use the fondue separately or at the same time as the raclette or grill.
1) Always add at least 500 ml of liquid into the fondue pot 2, but do not ex-
ceed the MAX marking.
2) Place the splash guard 1 on the rim of the fondue pot 2 with the curved side
facing upwards and place it in the indentation provided in the centre of the
griddle 3.
3) Set the desired temperature using the temperature control 5:
Low to medium temperature: For delicate dips and sauces (e.g. cheese or
chocolate sauce) and for heating thick sauces (e.g. tomato sauce).
Medium to high temperature: For keeping liquid contents such as oil or
broth warm or hot.
Maximum temperature: For heating low-viscosity contents such as oil or
broth. Select a lower temperature as soon as the contents have heated up
sufficiently.
NOTE
To prevent burning or splashes, avoid using a very high temperature to heat
cheese or chocolate sauce or similar thick sauces (such as tomato sauce).
Stir the contents of the fondue pot 2 occasionally so that nothing sticks to
the bottom of the pot.
Use the maximum temperature setting only for heating low-viscosity con-
tents such as oil or stock. Select a lower temperature setting to keep the
contents warm or hot.
