Technical description

Blocking time

The sensor does not react to movement during the flush and for a short predetermined time af-
terwards, because the sensor detects the afterflow of the flush water ("blocking time"). The blo-
cking time is adapted to suit the duration of the afterflow of the flush water.
For approx. 30 seconds after the end of the blocking time, the sensor operates at reduced sen-
sitivity in order to prevent false triggering caused by small volumes of residual flush water. Du-
ring this period, a larger volume of urine is required to cause triggering.

Operation is by a membrane keyboard with 2 keys and an LED as the optical signal.
