7.1.5 VDF smoke valve (Fig. 7.1.5)

All Palazzetti EMBL Magnofix models are equipped
with the new control for the regualtion of the quantity of
combustion smoke outlet. This adjustment makes it
possible to control combustion by adjusting the
draught based on installation conditions or
atmospheric conditions.
The control also allows automatic opening of the
smoke valve when the fire box door is lifted, thus
preventing smoke form entering the room.
7.1.5.1 Operation
The adjustment device lets you vary the position of
the smoke valve from "fully closed" to "fully open" in an
extremely gradual manner, thanks to the innovative
micrometric selector.
To adjust the opening of the smoke valve turn the
knurled knob to the left (closure) or to the right
(opening). It will be possible to view the degree of
opening on the graduated scale located to the left of
the control (Fig. 7.1.5.1: A - display of butterfly opening;
B - opening of butterfly in relation to the direction of
rotation of the selector).
For the model S78 3D (fig. 7.1.5.2):
to modify the opening of the smoke diaphragm, turn
the knob on right of the gauge, using the provided
tool (C) (turn to the left to close and to the right to
open).
Whatever adjustment is chosen, when the door of the
fire box is lifted, the mechanism will automatically place
the smoke valve in the "fully open" position, thus
preventing smoke from getting into the room. When
the door is closed again, the valve will again
automatically return to the previously set position.

7.1.5 VDF-Rauchventil (Abb. 7.1.5)
Alle Modelle EMBL Magnofix Palazzetti sind mit einer
neuen Steuerung zur Regulierung der austretenden
Rauchmenge der Verbrennung ausgerüstet. Diese
Regulierung ermöglicht die Verbrennung zu
modulieren,
Installationsbedingungen oder Witterungseinflüssen
angepasst wird.
Die
automatische Öffnung des Rauchventils, sobald die
Tür des Feuerraums hochgeschoben wird, es tritt kein
Rauch in den Wohnraum aus
7.1.5.1 Betrieb
Die Einstellvorrichtung ermöglicht das genaue,
stufenweise Verstellen des Rauchventils von "ganz
geschlossen" auf
mikrometrischen Wahlschalters.
Um die Öffnung des Rauchventils zu ändern wird
das chagrinierte Rädchen nach links (Schliessung)
oder rechts
Öffnungszustand kann auf der links von der
Steuerung befindlichen Skala sichtbar gemacht
werden (Abb. 7.1.5.1: A - Sichtanzeige der
Flügelöffnung; B - Flügelöffnung je nach Drehrichtung
des Wahlschalters).
Für Modell S78 3D (Abb. 7.1.5.2):
Um die Öffnung des Rauchreglerventils zu ändern,
das Rädchen, das rechts von der Stufenanzeige
angebracht ist, drehen, dazu das entsprechende
mitgelieferte Werkzeug (C) benutzen (nach links
wird geschlossen und nach rechts geöffnet).
Unabhängig von der Einstellung, bringt der
Mechanismus beim Hochschieben der Tür, das
Rauchventil in die Stellung "ganz offen" und verhindert
so den Rauchaustritt in den Wohnraum. Beim
Schliessen der Tür kehrt das Ventil automatisch in
seine vorherige Stellung zurück.
